EPISODE 68 | Behind The Scenes: Wealth Management Advice For Female Entrepreneurs (ft. Terrell Dinkins)

Happy Wednesday Corporate Misfit! Today we’re talking all about wealth management for women entrepreneurs with our special guest expert, Terrell Dinkins. 

Terrell Dinkins is President and Founder of OBN Wealth Advisors, an independent Registered Investment Adviser firm that primarily focuses on wealth-building strategies for women.  As an investment advisor, Terrell creates financial roadmaps to help her clients navigate their finances now and in the future. Prior to starting OBN Wealth Advisors, Terrell worked for seven and a half years, with Peachtree Planning Corporation, a financial planning firm. 

She is also a wealth empowerment speaker and author.  Her book, “One Bucket at a Time: A Woman’s Guide to Creating Wealth” has received great reviews from US Book of Reviews, Midwest Book of Reviews, and readers. She has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, television, and radio programs to include:  Black Enterprise, Rolling Out, Jezebel, Atlanta Business Journal, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and others. She has traveled international waters, speaking to audiences on wealth building. 

Terrell is a true “Georgia Peach.”  A native of Atlanta, she earned her BBA in Finance from Georgia Southern University, her MBA from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics. She completed the executive program in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. She has also earned the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant®) designation from The American College of Financial Services, and the CDFA® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.  Additionally, she has obtained the series 6,7,63 and 65 securities license and Life, Disability and LTC licenses. 
When Terrell is not in “Business Mode,” she is spending time with her husband and two teens. She also loves volunteering through her life membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter and The Twenty Pearls Foundation.
